The flag of Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia

The flag of Harrison Hot Springs, a picturesque village in British Columbia, serves as a visual representation of the community's identity, natural beauty, and historical significance. Adopted during the 60th anniversary celebrations of the village, the flag encapsulates elements that are emblematic of the region's landscape and heritage.

The flag features a white field, symbolizing purity and peace, which provides a backdrop for the central emblem derived from the village's logo. This emblem includes a stylized mountain reflecting key aspects of Harrison Hot Springs. The mountains represent the majestic ranges surrounding the village.

In a recent initiative to foster community involvement and fresh perspectives, high school students from Salmon Arm undertook a project to redesign the municipal flag. The proposed design features a dark blue sky, a radiant sun peeking over a mountain range, and a bald eagle in flight. This redesign aims to capture the essence of popular activities in the village, such as hiking and birdwatching, and to reflect the dynamic spirit of the community.

According to the Village of Harrison Hot Springs' flag policy, when displayed alongside other flags, the Canadian flag occupies the position of honour at the center, flanked by the British Columbia provincial flag on the left and the village flag on the right from the observer's perspective. This protocol underscores the village's respect for national and provincial symbols while maintaining its unique identity
