The flag of Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation serves as a powerful emblem of the community's identity, heritage, and enduring commitment to Treaty 4. Located in Manitoba, east of Roblin and west of Grandview, Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation is an Anishinaabe (Saulteaux Ojibwe) community with deep-rooted cultural traditions and a strong connection to the land.

The flag's design is composed of three horizontal bands: a blue band at the top, a white field in the center, and a red band at the bottom. The top blue band features the word "TOOTINAOWAZIIBEENG," while the bottom red band displays "TREATY # 4 RESERVE." Centrally placed on the white field is the Nation’s logo, which encapsulates elements significant to the community's cultural and spiritual heritage.

The blue band at the top represents the sky, symbolizing the spiritual realm and the community's aspirations. The red band at the bottom signifies the land and the blood of the ancestors, reflecting the community's deep connection to their territory and the sacrifices made by previous generations. The central white field denotes peace and unity, serving as a backdrop for the Nation's logo, which embodies the cultural identity and values of Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation.

The inscriptions "TOOTINAOWAZIIBEENG" and "TREATY # 4 RESERVE" emphasize the community's name and their affiliation with Treaty 4, signed in 1874. This treaty established a formal agreement between the Crown and various First Nations, including Tootinaowaziibeeng, outlining mutual responsibilities and commitments. By prominently displaying these inscriptions, the flag reaffirms the community's dedication to upholding the treaty's principles and their rights as a sovereign nation. The Nation's logo, centrally positioned on the flag, incorporates symbols that reflect Tootinaowaziibeeng's cultural heritage and spiritual beliefs. These include a wolf, bear, and eagle, as well as a stylized teepee.
