Located just west of Montréal, the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion sits at the confluence of rivers and roadways that have shaped its history and growth. Formed in 1994 through the merger of the towns of Vaudreuil and Dorion, the city represents a union of two communities that share not only a geography but a common vision for modern, sustainable living. The flag features a white background bearing the city’s distinctive logo—an intertwined “V” and “D” rendered in shades of green and blue. Though minimalist in its presentation, the emblem conveys a complex set of meanings. The two letters, representing Vaudreuil and Dorion, merge into a single form, reflecting the harmonious joining of the former municipalities into one cohesive city.
